JAKARTA - The Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is increasingly mushrooming in Indonesia, most recently from Geely, namely Starray EM-i which proves its toughness on Indonesian roads.

The model has traveled various routes and road conditions, ranging from dense toll roads, uphill mountain routes, to urban traffic, with a total distance of more than 1,000 kilometers and inter-city travel.

On the way from Jakarta to Yogyakarta and back to Jakarta, Geely Starray EM-i managed to record a distance of 1,017 km with only one full refueling and one charge.

In terms of performance, Geely Starray EM-i combines 1.5L gasoline engines and electric motors, resulting in the best efficiency in its class. Supported by 18.4 kWh batteries capable of covering pure electric distances of up to 105 km and 51 liter fuel tanks, the SUV also offers long cruising ranges and powerful performance on various road conditions.
