After Indonesia, Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz Now Visits The Philippine Market

JAKARTA - After officially debuting in Indonesia, more precisely at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) last July, Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz officially landed in the Philippines.

Citing from the Autoinducedsrya page, Wednesday, October 15, the Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has launched the new Stargazer and Stargazer X, featuring revised views on the outside with updated technologies and features on board, which Hyundai hopes will increase the appeal of MPV 7 seaters in the local market.

In terms of the same appearance as the version in Indonesia which means more elegant thanks to the transformed front fascia similar to the Palisade. Kisi-kisi received a larger horizontal bar, and below it there is a silver-painted block decoration.

Side profiles are brought from the prefacelift version, with Stargazer X distinguishing itself from the standard model with the roof rail and its ferry. Both Stargazer and Stargazer X received a new rim design, with the last 17-inch unit finished in black while the first 16-inch one finished silver.

The typical H-shaped LED light rod on the back has also been revised for the 2026 model with thicker vertical elements, while the number plate seat has been repositioned to the bottom of the rear bumper.

Entering the cabin, updates also appear in the interior. The panel of blocks used to accommodate digital instrument clusters and infotainment screens has been converted into panorama panels, combining two screens to form a smoother display.

Additionally, Apple's wireless and Android Auto CarPlay is standard for top specification models, with wireless charging available to the GLS Premium Stargazer and Stargazer X. The steering wheel remains the same, but the climate control panel is entirely new for updated versions. Both Stargazer and Stargazer X are offered exclusively with 7 seats for the Philippine market.

Hyundai will continue to offer Stargazer and Stargazer X with a 1.5 liter Smartstream G engine that produces 115 PS and 144 Nm torques paired with IVT. Higher specification variants also get a SmartSense ADAS Hyundai, complementing Stargazer with the help of blind-point collision avoidance, front-hand collision warning, and much more.

There are various color choices ranging from Creamy White Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl, Magnetic Silver Metallic, Midnight Black Pearl, and Titan Gray Metallic. Regarding prices, starting from 1,118,000 pesos or around Rp. 319 million.
