JAKARTA - Nissan Motor India officially introduced the name of its newest segment C SUV for the local market, Nissan Tekton. Along with the launch of the name Nissan has also released a series of design teasers.

Quoting from Rushlane, Tuesday, October 7, this SUV has started to be sent to dealers to be launched in the second quarter of 2026. So what are the details?

In design, Nissan Tekton features a bold and muscular display with a flat engine hood, perpendicular proportion, and a wide and modern front facility. Its distinctive LED DRL light stretches to complement Nissan's logo in the middle. Frontlight settings are separate from vertical LED clusters and the firm front bumper further emphasizes the attractiveness of the SUV.

On the back, Tekton is equipped with a connected LED backlight and a square backlight, similar to the design seen in Nissan's latest global model. The back spoilers and large rims provide a dynamic premium SUV display.

The interior teaser highlights a sleek, layered dashboard design with ambient lighting and wide trim insertions covered with brushed metal. Nissan is expected to offer large touchscreen infotainment units, full digital driver screens, wireless connectivity for smartphones, ventilated seats, 360-degree cameras, ADAS circuits, and premium seat coatings.

Nissan Tekton will share a platform with Renault Duster to come, both built on the CMF-B architecture. For India, Tekton is expected to be offered with gasoline and hybrid engines, with powerful hybrid technology at higher variances.

Nissan Tekton marks a major step in Nissan's growth strategy in India, which includes several new launches over the next two years. After Tekton, the 7-SEATER SUV that shares the platform with Renault Bigster (Boreal) was also planned.
