JAECOO Starts Sending J8 SHS Ardis This Week, Target 500 Orders By The End Of The Year

JAKARTA JAECOO Indonesia officially announced the price of J8 SHS Ardis which is priced at IDR 818 million (OTR Jakarta). After the official price was announced, the brand from China immediately started the process of sending units to consumers.

JAECOO Indonesia's Head of Marketing, Mohamad Ilham Pratama, explained that shipments started this week, especially for consumers who have made bookings since the prebooking period and at the GIIAS 2025 exhibition.

"Delivery starting this week, the initial 200 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) are a priority to be sent," he said when met on the sidelines of the price launch in the Jakarta area, Monday, September 29.

Furthermore, the man who is familiarly called Kang Ilham said that the distribution of the first phase was also carried out to the dealer network. These units will be used for display and test drives for potential consumers who want to experience this new SUV firsthand.

"Distribution has also started this week at the dealer, and they have received the unit," added Ilham.

Regarding the sales target, JAECOO is targeting more than 500 units by the end of 2025. This figure is expected to be achieved thanks to the presence of J8 SHS Ardis which offers a combination of bongsor SUVs with modern technology.

"If the target is at the end of the year, the sales will be more than 500 units," said Ilham.

Luxury Specifications

In terms of JAECOO J8 SHS Ardis specifications, this offers many luxurious things, not only in terms of design as well as the technology presented. Including being present as a PHEV (Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) SUV with the first triple-motor configuration, not only in Indonesia but also in the world.

The system combines two electric motors at the front and rear, combined with a 1.5L turbo engine and 3-acceleration hybrid transmission (3DHT). This combination yields system outputs of up to 395 kW and 650 Nm torques that allow acceleration from 0 - 100 km/hour in just 5.4 seconds, while still highlighting energy consumption efficiency.

Behind its powerful performance, J8 SHS ARDIS presents smart technology for optimal terrain mastery. Developed with GKN, the AWD ARDIS smart system allows the distribution of real-time torques up to 3700 Nm to the rear wheels. Starting from steep inclines, slippery mud, to rock lanes, this system ensures precision traction control even when only one wheel hits the ground.

Combined with the CDC (Continuous Damping Control) magnetic suspension that responds to road conditions 100 times per second, drivers feel optimal comfort on urban roads and maximum stability on extreme terrain.
