JAKARTA – Jetour Indonesia is increasingly serious about developing the Indonesian automotive market. After preparing to launch the T2 off-road SUV in the near future, the Chinese brand has confirmed that its younger sibling, the Jetour T1, will also be available soon.
The Marketing Director of PT Jetour Motor Indonesia (JMI), Moch Ranggy Radiansyah, revealed that the T1 launch will follow the established product roadmap.
"According to the roadmap, we will launch the T1 immediately. Soon, just one step away," he said when interviewed recently.
In line with this plan, Jetour Motor Indonesia is currently conducting road tests in various regions of Indonesia. These road tests are a crucial part of research and validation to ensure that each Jetour product is truly suited to local road conditions, climate, and consumer needs.
"We are committed to providing relevant, robust, and high-quality vehicles for consumers in Indonesia," added Ranggy.

In terms of design, the Jetour T1 is tailored to the market characteristics and environment of the target country. Currently, the model is undergoing testing as part of a comprehensive technical evaluation before its release to the market.
Recorded in the Chinese domestic market, the Jetour T1 has quite impressive dimensions: 4,706 mm long, 1,967 mm wide, and 1,845 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm.
The Jetour T1 offers two engine options.
The petrol variant is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 181 hp and 290 Nm of torque.
The PHEV variant is powered by a 2.0-liter engine producing 250 hp and 390 Nm of torque.
With its combination of a rugged design, powerful engine options, and rigorous testing in Indonesia, the Jetour T1 is predicted to be one of the most anticipated SUVs this year.
