GAC Indonesia Announces AION UT Price, Starting At IDR 325 Million

JAKARTA - GAC Indonesia officially launched AION UT which is present in two variants starting from the Standard and Premium. This car is priced at IDR 300 million.

The details are for the premium variant with a distance of 500 km at Rp363 million, while for the Standard variant with a distance of 400 km (NEDC) there is a figure of Rp325 million. This price is the Jakarta OTR.

GAC Indonesia CEO Andry Ciu, said that today is a special day for the company to reveal the good news that the wider community has been waiting for.

Including all technology from the GAC Group will be brought to Indonesia. We have also brought several models including the latest AION UT," he said, at the launch at Gandaria City Mall, Wednesday, September 10.

He further said that this car itself had previously been introduced at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), and attracted the attention of many people.

"It is very suitable for young people to facilitate routines that have a long duration from morning to night," he added.

In specifications, AION UT comes with a seamless and attractive design, especially if it has European Aesthetic design language. This car was designed directly by GAC's latest designer, Stephan Janin, based at the GAC Advance Design Center Europe.

Taking the philosophy of Milan's nuanced design, at the front of this electric hatchback has a lamp that resembles a daan eye, as well as a customs light matrix. In dimensions, this car has a length of 4,270 mm, a width of 1,850 mm, a height of 1,575 mm with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

AION UT comes with two variants ranging from Standard which is equipped with a 44 kWh battery with a distance of 400 km, while Premium uses a 60 kWh battery with a distance of 500 km. The electric motor also has two options, namely 100 kW and 150 kW with 210 Nm torque. On paper, the 0-100 kph acceleration is completed within 8.3 seconds.
