Prospective Successor I30, Hyundai Ioniq 3 Ready To Be Produced In Turkey Starting 2026

Hyundai introduced a new electric hatchback concept at the IAA Mobility event in Munich, which is predicted to be the model of Ioniq 3.

Quoting from the Drive page, Tuesday, September 9, although it was not officially announced, it was confirmed that the car would be the Ioniq model aimed at the European market.

In fact, the production version is confirmed to come in 2026 with an assembly line located in Turkey. This model is also projected to be Hyundai i30's indirect successor with a gasoline engine.

In dimensions, the Hyundai Concept Three comes with a length of 4287 mm, a width of 1940 mm, a height of 1428 mm, and a wheelbase of 2722 mm.

The exterior design carries the new Hyundai design language which combines smooth curves with a firm line. Ioniq's distinctive visual identity through the Parametric Pixel element is also visible on the headlights.

The interior of this concept car appears more experimental than the outside. The cabinet carries a combination of yellow and purple colors. The dashboard is minimalist and equipped with a modular panel called 'Bring Your Own Lifestyle'.

Hyundai also added a mascot character called 'Mr. Pix', which is designed to foster curiosity, joy, as well as an emotional connection with its users.

In addition to futuristic designs, Hyundai also emphasizes environmentally friendly materials in this concept. Textiles made from sea waste and light aluminum foam are used in various interior parts, showing brand commitment to sustainability.

Even though it has appeared in public, Hyundai has not revealed the technical details of the candidate for Ioniq 3. It is not yet known whether the car will use the E-GMP electric platform that has been used in other Ioniq models, both in more affordable versions of front wheels and more expensive rear wheels driving.
