Chery Tiggo Cross CSH Present In The Philippines, Price More Expensive Than Indonesia

JAKARTA - After launching in Malaysia and Indonesia some time ago, the High Chery Cross Hybrid targeted the Philippine automotive market, which was launched directly by the Philippine Auto Chery Distributor, United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI).

Quoting from the Autoindustya page, Thursday, August 21, this car was created to redefine a hybrid experience by combining advanced technology with extraordinary fuel efficiency, as well as premium features in a smart and stylized package.

In terms of appearance, it is not different from the version in Indonesia, which looks very modern. There is an HEV emblem, an electric sunset, and a 17-inch dual tone aerodynamic rim. The Tiggo Cross HEV has a length of 4,320 mm, a width of 1,831 mm, and a height of 1,652 mm. The wheelbase is also 2,610 mm

The Tiggo Cross HEV is powered by the Super Hybrid Chery Technology (CSH) of this car manufacturer, which combines a 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an electric motor powered by a 1.83 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery.

The result is a combined output system of 204 PS and a torque of 310 Nm. This force is then channeled to a special hybrid transmission (DHT) that drives the front wheels and is equipped with two driving modes, namely Eco and Sport.

With a full gasoline tank, Chery claimed that the Tiggo Cross HEV was able to cover a distance of up to 1,200 km. With qualified power and torque, this car is also able to go fast without being wasteful of fuel.

Step in, the Tiggo Cross HEV is equipped with wireless charging pads, as well as a wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. In addition to the rear camera, this hybrid crossover is also equipped with a 540-degree camera system with dynamic guidance. For the convenience of extra passengers, the Tiggo Cross HEV is also equipped with a two-zone temperature controller, an automatic up & down window switch, and a six-way electric-regulated front seat.

Talking about the price, for the Philippine market, this car is priced at 1,198,000 pesos or around Rp. 341 million. A higher figure than in Indonesia, which is sold starting from Rp. 300 million.
