Nissan Prepares To Launch The N6 PHEV Sedan In China, Here's The Form

JAKARTA - Nissan is preparing to increase his car ammunition in China from the results of a joint venture with Dongfeng. The car model in question is N6 PHEV.

Based on a report from Carnewschina, quoted Monday, August 11, the certainty was based on documents registered by the company with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) China.

Nissan N6 will be powered by a 1.5L naturally assisted engine (NR15 model) with a maximum output of 101 hp, combined with an electric motor powered by 208 kW. The battery will use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell supplied by Rept Battero Energy Co., Ltd.

In terms of design, Nissan N6 has aesthetics similar to Nissan N7. This car adopts a closed culling and a thin light strip with the Nissan logo that turns on. There is also a backfire light that gives visual characteristics.

With a length of 4831 mm, a width of 1885 mm, and a height of 1491 mm, as well as a wheelbase of 2815 mm, N6 is positioned as an intermediate sedan. The hidden door handle is characteristic of its side profile.

Meanwhile, the back is also equipped with a see-through-type rearlight design, with the words "NISSAN" in the middle of the lamp, which is also expected to turn on.

The presence of this model was driven by the success of the first BEV of this joint venture, N7, which surpassed 10,000 orders 18 days after its launch, becoming the pure electric vehicle resulting from the fastest joint venture that reached this milestone in the industry.

In June, Dongfeng Motor announced the establishment of a joint venture with NCIC (the subsidiary wholly owned by Nissan) to be involved in the automotive export business. Among electric vehicles scheduled to be exported are the N7 medium sedan, and the N6 PHEV. Will it enter Indonesia?
