Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid Price At Almost IDR 300 Million, Check Out The Specifications

TANGERANG - After introducing its first hybrid car in Indonesia, the Rocky e-Smart Hybrid, Daihatsu has officially announced the model's price at GIIAS 2025.

The Japanese brand has priced the Rocky e-Smart Hybrid at IDR 293.9 million. This price includes protection and peace of mind for customers throughout the entire ownership period of the Rocky Hybrid, including an 8-year or 160,000 KM hybrid battery warranty, a 3-year or 100,000 KM vehicle warranty, and five free service intervals up to 50,000 KM.

So, what are the full specifications? The Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is powered entirely by an electric motor, with the gasoline engine acting as a generator to charge the battery. This car is also claimed to offer a myriad of advantages, including excellent fuel efficiency, low emissions, responsive acceleration, advanced safety, and a fun driving experience that brings joy to the driver.

In terms of design, this car has a compact body with a powerful and aggressive design. The Daihatsu logo with its blue e-Smart Hybrid emblem is the Hybrid's signature design. The honeycomb grille design provides a bold and aerodynamic appearance. This car is also equipped with a super UV and Infrared Cut windshield that keeps the cabin cool and comfortable.

In terms of interior, the Rocky Hybrid delivers a Fun Drive Sensation with various new features, a modern dashboard display, a spacious and quiet cabin, making the ride even more comfortable. The Auto Brake Hold and Electric Parking Brake make it easier to activate the parking brake more practically with an electric system by simply pulling or pressing a button.

As for safety, this car is equipped with advanced safety features. There are six SRS airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) to maximize braking performance, VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) to maintain vehicle stability, HSA (Hill Start Assist) to prevent the car from rolling back when stopped on an incline for a while, Blind Spot Mirrors, and ISOFIX anchors further enhance driving safety.

Sri Agung Handayani, Marketing Director and Corporate Communications Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, stated that the Rocky Hybrid's exceptional efficiency, low emissions, responsive acceleration, and safety features that provide maximum protection make it a fun vehicle to drive.

The Rocky Hybrid is powered by a 1,200 cc WA-VEX gasoline engine integrated with a 177.6-volt hybrid battery and a dedicated transaxle hybrid transmission. The Rocky Hybrid's electric motor is capable of producing a maximum power of 106 PS and a maximum torque of 170 Nm. In terms of fuel efficiency, the Rocky Hybrid is best in its class, achieving 28 km/L in WLTC (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycle) testing mode.
