JAKARTA - Wuling Motors (Wuling) officially launched the Newmenu EV 2025 which comes with several updates, both in terms of exterior and interior as well as presenting two variants.

Production Planning Wuling Motors Alfonsus Marvel, explained the details of changes to the electric hatcback that has resulted in success in the Indonesian automotive market.

"The renewal of the Wuling New Binguo EV is found in the existence of smart interaction features, electric foldable mirrors, then an increasingly diverse exterior color choice, a new interior color, and also a new variant, making it even more attractive in the EV hatchback segment," he said in a presentation at XXI AEON Mall, Cikarang, West Java, Friday, July 11.

In terms of exteriors, NewNU EV still maintains the iconic exterior silhouette and two tone color which is its trademark, but has now been added to the electric foldable mirror.

Meanwhile, the Pro variant carries diamond shaped grip, X-shaped LED headlights andtail lights, chrome ornaments, and dual tone rims with a water sprinkled patternn design that gives an elegant touch.

Entering the cabin, this Hatchback EV has a wide and functional interior but there are several differences between the two variants.

In the New Binguo EV Pro using a Caramel Latte interior color feel, a leather coated seat with a leather covered steering wheel, setting up an electric driver seat.

In addition, these two variants still have a soft touch trim interior with 15 storage bins and a 790 liter baggage capacity in a folded second row bench.

Powered by a 50 kW electric motor with a torque of 150 Nm, as well as an LFP battery with a capacity of 31.9 kWh.

The New Binguo EV is able to cover a distance of up to 333 km in one full charge. Then there is a fast charging option, this electric vehicle can charge the battery from 30 to 80 percent in just 35 minutes.

In terms of footwear, the two New Binguo EV variants wore 185/60 R15 tires with 15-inch rims and entrusted the deceleration device to the disk disk on the front and rear sides.

Regarding the driving safety features, there are no differences in the pro and lite variants. Both are equipped with airbags, ABS and EBD, Electric Parking Brakes, AVH, Electronic Stability Control, Rear Parking Sensors, Parking Camera, ISOFIX, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and Immobilizer.
