Adopting 5C Charging Technology, Xpeng G7 Officially Launches In China

JAKARTA - Xpeng, a automotive manufacturer from China, officially launched the G7 SUV, which is the seventh model in its lineup to date.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Friday, July 4, the presence of the car will be a strong challenger for Tesla Model Y to Xiaomi YU7 which is quite attractive to many customers, and this model is priced from 195,800 yuan or around Rp442 million.

In specifications, the Xpeng G7 has a length dimension of 4,892 mm, width, 1,925 mm, height of 1,655 mm with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. The appearance of this car adopted the design language 'X Face'.

From the front view, this car is equipped with a thin light silhouette combined with an LED stripped. The front light is located lower, and adopts a trapium design. From the back, this car comes with a very distinctive 'Star Ring' style. For color choices, there are a total of six covering gray, silver, white, black, cream to green.

Xpeng G7 has a small trunk with a capacity of 42 liters under its hood. The main bag of this model offers a standard capacity of 819 L. If the back seat is folded, this number reaches 2,277 L.

Xpeng G7 offers one type of RWD drive. Its electric motor has a peak power of 292 hp. The G7 SUV advances 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. There are two LFP batteries available for this EV, first offering a capacity of 68 kWah which can cover a distance of up to 702 CLTC.

This car adopts 5C charging technology that allows it to charge as much as 436 km in 10 minutes. The energy consumption of this car is at 10.8 kWh per 100 km. Xpeng G7 also supports V2L functions with a power of 6 kW.
