Mazda EZ-60 Has Been Ordered Up To More Than 30,000 Units In China, Sold From September 2025

JAKARTA - Mazda introduced the EZ-60 model at the Shanghai 2025 Auto event last April and was welcomed by the public in the bamboo curtain country.

Launching from CarNewsChina, Friday, June 27, the manufacturer managed to pocket more than 30,000 initial orders in China since the opening of pre-sales in April.

The car, which is the result of the Changan-Mazda joint venture, will be marketed locally starting next September following the success of the sedan-shaped EZ-6.

Mazda EZ-60 was built on the platform developed by Changan, namely EPA1 or the same as EZ-6 and two models from the Deepal brand, namely L07 and S07.

Mazda EZ-60 defines the manufacturer's signature driving philosophy, namely Jinba-Ittai which makes everyday driving fun, and smart features that make life inside and outside the vehicle smooth.

This vehicle has a weight distribution of 50:50 on the front and rear, equipped with a front and multi-link suspension behind it.

Its control is supported by an electronically controllable damping so that it can respond to various driving situations.

Just like the EZ-6 marketed in China, the Mazda EZ-60 comes in the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) variant which can provide a range of about 600 km and the Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) with a comprehensive distance of up to 1,000 km.
