Mercedes AMG Presents Special Edition Of GT 63 4MATIC+ APXGP Edition, There Are Only 52 Units In The World

JAKARTA - Mercedes-AMG, as the official promotional partner of Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. Pictures, plays an important role in the production of the F1 film The Movie, which is ready to become one of the most impressive and action-packed racing films of all time.

Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH and Head of the Mercedes-Benz G Class & Mercedes Maybach divisions, Michael Schiebe, said F1 cleverly combines the fictitious APXGP team with the real world of Formula 1.

"A thrilling storyline and realistic racing footage will bring tension and adrenaline to the audience," he said, in a statement received on Wednesday, June 25.

In the film, several iconic models such as SL, G-Class, and GT also appear in this film to strengthen the narrative and present a touch of Mercedes-Benz luxury on the big screen.

Only 52 special models in the World

In order to welcome the premiere of the F1 film, Mercedes-AMG introduced AMG GT 63 4MATIC + APXGP Edition at the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 event. The edition model is very limited which only produces 52 units worldwide. The vehicle design is inspired directly by the APXGP fictitious racing team.

Equipped with an AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine powered by 430 kW (585 hp), high-tech components such as the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with semi-active body stabilization, rear-axle steering and active aerodynamics system, make the driving character of this car even more responsive.

This sports couple car is designed with an advanced 4MATIC + all-wheel drive AMG wheel driving system, so engine power is distributed efficiently and stably throughout the wheels, improving performance and control in various road conditions.
