Xpeng Officially Opens The G7 SUV Covered With This Advanced Technology

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturers from China continue to innovate to present increasingly sophisticated car products, including Xpeng, which recently launched the G7 SUV.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Friday, June 13, this Chinese brand introduces the latest technology on this car, including the AR-HUD system developed in collaboration with Huawei, and a visual-based driver assistance system powered by the AI Chip.

The car filling the SUV segment comes in two variants starting from Max offering 68.5 kWh and Ultra battery packages with a battery capacity of 80.8 kWh. The resulting range reaches 702 km in CLTC counts.

The Ultra variant is equipped with an AI chip that is claimed to be equivalent to nine Nvidia Orin-X chips, which can later support the function of high-level driver assistance. Including, parking aid to city streets.

Interestingly, Xpeng confirmed that the G7 will support Level 3 autonomous driving through its vision-based XNGP system, which fully relies on camera sensors rather than LiDAR for thorough AI driving.

In terms of design, this car adopts a second generation 'X Face' design style, where at the front it comes with a wide daytime running bar light, and split main lights. Dimension, this car has a length of 4,892 mm, a width of 1,925 mm, and a height of 1,655 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. You can see that the rear wheel is quite luxurious, it is seen that wide lights are blended with the rear fender.

Entering the cabin, this SUV adopts a minimalist layout without a traditional instrument cluster. Instead, the car uses a 15.6-inch floating center screen to display driving data and infotainment. The materials used include original wood, metal, and leather, and are available with four interior color options.

In addition, to offer the convenience of the G7 Xpeng equipped with a chair made from Nappa's skin has ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Additional facilities include a 50W double wireless charger pad on the front, a panoramic sunset, an audio surround system of 20 speakers.

Regarding the price, this one car is priced starting from 235,800 yuan or around Rp536 million, it's just that this is still the price of the pre-order is not yet official.
