Suzuki Sets High Sales Target For Tronx, Reach 2,000 Units Per Month

JAKARTA - PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) is very confident in its new product, Fronx. In fact, the strong challenger Toyota Raize to Daihatsu Rocky is targeted to be able to contribute greatly to the sale of Suzuki in Indonesia.

This was revealed by the President Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales & PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Minuru Amano. He strongly believes that Tronx is well accepted.

"Fronx is a new chapter for Suzuki, and we are targeting this car to sell for 2,000 units a month," he said, at the launch in Kuningan, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 28.

On the same occasion, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales' Deputy Managing Director, Donny Saputra, revealed the proportion of the sales target in each variant.

Suzuki offers Funx in several variants. Starting from GL for IDR 259 million (MT) and IDR 271 million (AT), GX for IDR 276 million (MT) and IDR 293.3 million (AT), and SGX for IDR 319.9 million (AT).

"After the initial period, we projected our estimate of approximately 40 percent in SGX, 30 percent in GX, and the remaining 30 percent in the GL variant," said Donny.

In specifications, Suzuki Furnx offers two choices of machines. The GL variant is equipped with a K15B coded engine with a capacity of 1.5L 4-cylinder VVT, while the GX and SGX variants use a K15C engine powered by Suzuki's flagship hybrid mid technology, namely Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS), to provide better fuel efficiency as well as a responsive performance.

In addition, this car is also equipped with various interesting features such as the SGX variant embedded in Tilt & Telescopic Steering, Push Start-Stop Engine Button, Head-Up Display (HUD), 360 View Camera, Steering Wheels with Cruise Control Button & Paddle Gear Shift.

In addition to the driver, the passengers also get useful features such as Head Unit 9-inch with Apple CarPlay & Android auto, Wireless phone charger, Auto climate AC, rear seat AC ventilation, USB soft, and Synthetic leather & fabric material seat.
