JAKARTA - BMW inaugurated his participation in the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza event by bringing a new concept model called Concept Speedtop.
This car carries the base of the M8 Competition and turns it into a shooting brake model that combines elegant and sporty auras.
"Concept Speedtop is very unique in the automotive world by emitting turmoil and dynamicism even in a state of silence," said Head of BMW Design, Adrian van Hooydok, quoted from the company's official website, Saturday, May 24.
The car has several similarities such as a concept that has been exhibited before, namely Skytop with the presence of a V pattern at the front, sharknoses, sleek headlights, and BMW-type kidney grips.
In addition, Concept Speedtop has a mid-strip from the engine hood on the roof to the rear spoiler providing this car with a dynamic Touring profile.
There is a color gradient that radiates on the roof so that it can change it from Floating Sunshine Maroon to Floating Sundown Silver.
Not only elegant, Speedtop emits a stiff aura on the shoulder of the car which is confirmed by 14-inch rims patterned with fingers.

Luxury is also radiated on its interior by adding traditional "Brogue" details that are skilled at highlighting the cut surface with the skin and emphasizing high level expertise.
Just like the exterior, the inside has a similar gradient but with a different color, namely the Sundown Maroon which is in tune with Moonstone White.
Bagation is also coated with skin and refined with brogue-style perforations that are perfected with light rays illuminating the baggage compartment.
The performance relies on a 4.4 liter V8 bi-turbo machine built-in from the M8 Competition. Unfortunately, BMW has not provided details regarding the technical details.
As an illustration, the M8 Competition has the engine configuration which produces 617 hp of power in collaboration with the automatic transmission of eight accelerations. This gives it an acceleration boost from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.3 seconds.
The manufacturer also confirmed that Speedtop will be launched in a limited number of production versions to only 70 units in the world.
