Successful Debut At Auto Shanghai 2025, Mazda EZ-60 Record Orders For 18 Thousand Units In China

JAKARTA - Mazda has introduced the EZ-60 for the Chinese market at the 2025 Shanghai Auto event in order to expand its electric vehicle line.

This car is side by side with the EZ-6 which is a sedan in nature as Mazda's electric vehicle line in the bamboo curtain country and has received positive interest since its launch nearly a month ago.

Reporting from CarNewsChina, Monday, May 19, the electric SUV has been ordered to reach 18,000 units. This car is certain to be sold and will be delivered to customers this year.

Mazda EZ-60 defines the manufacturer's signature driving philosophy, namely Jinba-Ittai which makes everyday driving fun, and smart features that make life inside and outside the vehicle smooth.

Carrying the design language 'Future + Soul x Modern', this car has an elegant and modern style that evokes a new lifestyle image.

The SUV is equipped with an air elevator at the end of the hood and other points that creates a futuristic impression and contributes to better aerodynamics and has increased power consumption efficiency at high speeds.

Mazda EZ-60 has a weight distribution of 50:50 at the front and rear, equipped with a front and multi-link suspension behind it. Its control is supported by electronically controllable damping so that it can respond to various driving situations.

Moving to the interior, this car is equipped with a 26.45-inch 5K display and a virtual 3D head-up display. The information and visuals that are clearly displayed in front of the driver support safety and safety while providing a futuristic driving experience. This one car is equipped with other advanced features including a smart cabin system that can operate with sound, touch, movement, and smart parking.

Just like the EZ-6 marketed in China, the Mazda EZ-60 comes in the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) variant which can provide a range of about 600 km and the Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) with a comprehensive distance of up to 1,000 km.

The EZ-60 is the second electric vehicle model introduced by Mazda along with Changan to form a joint venture company, Changan Mazda.
