JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz launched its newest CLA in March with drastic changes from the technology side to the mover.

For the first time also, this premium automotive manufacturer launched CLA in a pure EV version consisting of two variants such as CLA 250+ and CLA 350.

Not only born in the standard variant, this car will also come with a high performance version under the AMG subbrand emblem.

Previously, AMG's latest CLA had been caught on camera with camouflage all over its body. Now, the compact sedan is again visible with a mask sticker covering the front and back.

Quoted from Carscoops, Thursday, May 15, the front is uniquely designed with a bumper decorated by a large intake. Both are unified so that it produces a grip pattern that can attract attention.

The side is not much different from the standard CLA. But for AMG, the sedan has a Michelin Pilot Sport tires with light rims covering the red Kaliper braking on the front.

To highlight the strong sporty impression, this high performance version of CLA is decorated by the "AMG" emblem on its front stage.

The back view also has no significant changes, but the manufacturer presents an "active spoiler" on the car and it is hoped that the rear bumper and diffuser will be modified.

Speaking of performance, EV's latest Mercedes-AMG CLA is powered by three electric motors that have total power reaching 500 hp.

Electric motors for the AMG model will be developed through a partnership with Yasa, a UK-based technical firm that was acquired by Mercedes-Benz in 2021.

In order to attract AMG lovers, it is rumored that the CLA will provide the "V8 Mode" feature, offering imitation sounds such as V8 machines resembling the ICE version of the high performance lineup.
