Hyundai introduced its newest electric SUV specifically designed for the Chinese market, called Elexio. The model is the result of several years of development and will be officially launched by Beijing Hyundai in the third quarter of this year.

The main highlight is on daytime running light (DRL) in the form of eight which is a symbol of luck in China and inspired by crystals. Hyundai logo in the front fascia section is now also made on, giving a modern impression as well as confirming the identity of the car.
Elexio's front face looks striking with a two-color bumper design, layered lines, and a firm wheel arch. On the side, the aerodynamic impression is reinforced with a hidden door handle, a diagonal-style back pillar, and a 20-inch large wheels that add to the sporty feel. The back is designed to align with the front, equipped with a horizontal back light blending, giving a clean and elegant impression.
Although the interior has not yet been fully opened to the public, Hyundai said that the Elexio cabin will carry a minimalist design. Most physical buttons on the dashboard have been removed and replaced by a typical today's electric vehicle styled central display "similar to the trend also adopted by many Chinese brands.
