JAKARTA - Recently, Toyota expanded its environmentally friendly line in the Chinese market by introducing bZ3X. The model was born from a collaboration between the manufacturer and a local company, GAC.
This one model goes on sale for the Bamboo Curtain country market at a varying price, ranging from 109,800 yuan to the highest reaching 159,800 yuan (equivalent to Rp250.5 million to Rp364.6 million).

Deputy President Director of PT Toyota Manufacturing Motor Indonesia (TMMIN), Bob Azam, said that his party opens the possibility to produce the model in Indonesia and will soon learn more about bZ3X in the near future.

He also said the presence of the vehicle must be supported by adequate infrastructure. Bob gave one example is that the roads in China are wider than Indonesia and this is another consideration before the car arrives at the national market.
"In China, the road is straight and wide, so the car focuses on the straight road. Well, we run small so we need a smaller turn radius. Things like that must be considered before being launched here," added Bob.

Bob said his party had no problem if the vehicle entered Indonesia with the status of the result of collaboration from GAC, thus opening up other opportunities for Toyota in the country to increase its environmentally friendly vehicles.

The battery can also use fast charging (DC), it even takes only 24 minutes to recharge the battery from 30 to 80 percent, while for slow charging it takes 10 hours.
