BMW Series-5 Facelift Seen Tested Road, Expected To Attend 2027

JAKARTA - The eighth generation BMW Series-5 launched in May 2023 by offering two driving versions, namely pure ICE and EV called i5.

Despite entering its second year, the German manufacturer is secretly designing a facelift version of the midfielder. A camouflage-clad sedan suspected of being a Series-5 is being tested with a newer face.

Reported by BMWBlog, Thursday, March 13, the car has a newer front facility inspired by the Vision Neue Classe concept. In addition, the manufacturer redesigned the goal with all-new headlights.

Not only the refresher at the front, but the back also has a newer design similar to Vision Neue Classe. The lighting of this car has a wider dimension with a longer trunk cap.

However, there is a possibility that this design configuration will be used for a while or may change.

Because what was being tested was a series-5 version of gasoline, the sedan showed an exhaust bottom of the rear bumper. Although not a performance-focused car, BMW gave it a large front air take, a red brake caliber, and a dual-tone rim from the M Sport Package.

Unfortunately, the captured images in circulation did not clearly image the interior. However, it is estimated that this Series-5 facelift will have an iDrive X system consisting of a touch screen in the middle and remove the instrumental cluster in front of the driver.

Just like the Vision Neue Classe concept, the sedan will have the Panoramic Vision feature. This is a pillar projection to the pillar that provides an overview or technical information. It is also reported that the 5-facelift Series also has a screen for passengers to be optional.

According to various sources in circulation, the latest Series-5 will start production in March 2027. Thus, BMW still has two years to develop this sedan.
