Citroen Starts Selling The Latest C3 Aircross In The UK, Priced At IDR 400 Million

JAKARTA - Citroen opened the sales tap for the C3 Aircross model on British soil. This car is known as one of the seven cars with the country's seven cheapest seats.

Launching from Autocar, Wednesday, February 5, the car competing in the Low Sport Utility Vehicle (LSUV) segment starts at 21,005 pounds (Rp427.6 million). The French manufacturer also provides a five-seater configuration at a price of 20,240 pounds (Rp411.9 million).

Meanwhile, Citroen also offered an EV version, namely e-C3 Aircross with a tag starting from 22,990 (IDR 467.9 million). Trim Max is the highest with mild-hybrid technology priced at 25,740 pounds (IDR 524.4 million).

Carrying a length of 4,390 mm, the latest generation C3 Aircross offers a more assertive and muscular exterior than ever as well as setting new standards set by Citroen.

In addition, this car has a silhouette with a two-color roof that is more modern than the one offered in other markets. Furthermore, the bumper and quarter panels can be selected at various levels by customers as desired.

The interior is presented with a spacious and long space with seven seating configurations as well as two foldable back seats.

Despite having a relieved interior, C3 Aircross still has a compact size so users can park it easily. Another highlight is the 10.25-inch infortainment system that can be integrated with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

For pure gasoline, the model is equipped with a PureTech Turbo engine that can generate up to 101 hp. This has met the standard of Euro7 and has been connected to the manual acceleration six transmission system.

Citroen also offers a hybrid version of customers who want to switch to electrification with a 1.2 liter PureTech 3-cylinder engine powered by 134 hp along with an electric motorbike of 28 hp from a lithium-ion 48V battery.

The manufacturer also presents a version of a pure EV that has a 44 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery which can cover a distance of 300 km in one charge. This car is driven by an electric motor measuring 111 hp which can reach the highest speed of up to 145 km/hour.

The battery itself can be charged with a DC fast-charging of 100 kW which can charge 20 to 80 percent in 26 minutes. For home charging, the SUV can fill in a period of up to 4 hours 10 minutes with an AC charger.
