Volvo EX30 Will Have An Offroad Version, What Does It Look Like?

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from Sweden, Volvo plans to expand its variations on the EX30 model. Recently, they were seen testing the compact SUV in a snowy area with a tougher look.

Reporting from Carscoops, Thursday, January 23, the car, which will be called "EXT 30 Cross Country", offers a lot of off-road capabilities with increased ground clearance at the EX30.

In the imageshot, EX30 Cross Country experienced a small increase in the ground clearance side. Although the altitude is not stated, the standard version is offered at a height of 171 mm.

What distinguishes the Cross Country variant from its standard type is the presence of black trims in several elements, such as noses, curves and tails, rooftop racks, and the latest 18-inch rim set.

In addition, the Volvo EX30 is equipped with tough offroad tires and other equipment for various terrains such as skid plates to protect the battery and electric motor system.

Unfortunately, more information about this car is still minimal. However, it is hoped that this car will launch soon this year and the European market will be the first region to welcome the model.

It is possible that the Volvo EX30 Cross Country has the potential to equip it with a 422-mobile electric motor powered by an all-wheel drive that already exists in the Twin Motor Performance variant.

Previously, Volvo had released a preview image from the EX30 Cross Country in June 2023 at the same time hinting that the model would be present in the future.

The name 'Cross Country' is for Volvo's offroad model. This edition was first present at the V70 wagon with a higher suspension and several trim bodies that looked stronger.

After that, Cross Country only exists in models like the V60 wagon and has not been applied to other models to date. It is hoped that the EX30 Cross Country can arouse the enthusiasm of Volvo lovers in off-road driving.
