Genesis Introduces G80 Black Edition In Korea, Its Appearance Is More Luxury

JAKARTA - The Korean market has again welcomed the Black Edition variant in the Genesis car lineup. Now, the premium auto brand has introduced the G80 Black Edition following the launch of the same edition at G90, GV80, and GV80 Coupe.

According to the brand page, Thursday, January 9, the sedan comes with an elegant black touch that covers the entire interior and exterior.

All of its exterior equipment has been black and dark, including the front bumper grip, radiator grip, emblem, flight opening (DLO), rear bumper, side bezel in the headlights, to the pattern of closing on the Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS).

The Genesis G80 Black Edition is now equipped with a 20-inch black glossy standard rim, complete with a central cover. Meanwhile, the old gray Genesis emblem is placed in the middle of a trunk cap.

The sedan also has black accents that blanket the entire interior that adds to the luxurious and elegant impression in its cabin.

Black finishing is applied even to the smallest details, including air conditioning and baggage buttons, doors and console switches, steering wheels, middle shiftrs, door steps, speaker grids, and logos.

The premium appeal is getting thicker with the presence of original wood decorations, coated seat skin packaged charmingly, and there is a 27-inch integrated wide screen featuring a more exclusive welcome animation and goodbye.

Unfortunately, the premium brand under Hyundai does not want to reveal the prices and machines offered at the G80 Black Edition. Genesis will provide it varyingly depending on each market.

As an illustration, the standard G80 Genesis is now equipped with a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 300 hp and 422 Nm of torque and 3.5 liters of V6 with 375 hp and 540 Nm of torque.
