Offer More Flexibility, This Is The Form Of Wuling Zhiguang EV

JAKARTA - Wuling released an official image of its new electric car, Zhiguang EV, both from the exterior and interior, which offers an impression like the Japanese Kei Car.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, December 30, the exterior design offered by this one car has a box that is classified as similar to the five-door Hongguang Mini EV.

Interestingly, both backdoors can be shifted like a van in general and can be opened up to 595 mm. Meanwhile, the rear door angle is also quite large and can be opened up to 90 degrees which makes it easy to unload.

In dimensions, Wuling Zhiguang EV has a length of 3,685 mm, a width of 1,530 mm and a height of 1,750 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, a car that has a dimension longer than the Japan Kei Car which is only limited to a maximum of 3,400 mm.

This car is claimed to have advantages that lie in storage flexibility, which has 20 threaded installation holes that can be used for the installation of additional accessories, such as storage compartments.

In the front area, the bench can be folded almost evenly and the back area as well. This allows creating a sizeable space, coupled with a trunk with a capacity of 527 liters. If all the seats are folded, the capacity will increase to 1,117 liters.

This tiny electric car is embedded with a capacity of 26.5 kWh which is claimed to provide a distance of about 200 km. Wuling Zhiguang EV has the highest speed of up to 100 km/hour. For the future, this car is claimed to have a version of CATL's Evogo battery exchange, which means eliminating user concerns about running out of battery, and refilling it quickly.

Wuling Zhiguang EV sales will begin in early 2025. The price is likely to start at around 50,000 yuan or around Rp. 110 million, and is likely to be exported. Indonesia is included? Of course it's worth the wait.
