JAKARTA - Recently, Jaguar made a surprise by launching two E-Type models from the production line as well as signaling the return of this model after 50 years.

These two legendary models are the rare Classic E-Type Series I. The reborn of this model is exclusively presented to loyal customers of the brand in Southeast Asia in order to celebrate the success of this iconic sports car.

Jaguar Chief Commercial Officer Leonard Hoornik, his party still maintains various original elements in the E-Type with unique specifications and designs that produce a perfect car.

"As original E-type designers, we are positioned uniquely to further integrate aesthetic and engineering improvements resulting from decades of knowledge, skills and enthusiasm," Hoornik said on the brand's official website, Thursday, October 24.

Inspired by 50th Commemorative Editions from 1974, the car was carefully and in detail redesigned by experts in the Jaguar Classic division for more than 2,000 hours.

Two Classic E-Type Commemorative colors and others are iconic Signet Green. Both are original color scheme updates from 1974. The exterior is elegantly designed which is timeless with a smooth design curve and the front with an E-Type long hood.

On the interior, this car has a Bridge of Weir brown leather seat woven and hand-tuned at the Jaguar Classic trim shop. This unique and tactile final result has never been available in Jaguar Classic before and combines traditional skills and design inspiration with contemporary aesthetics.

This specially ordered model has special elements in the cabin, such as aluminum anodization with unique carvings on the center console.

There is special jewelry from Deakin & Francis attached to the interior and exterior in each model. It is a layer of pearls, pure silver, and 18 carat gold details that highlight the expensive impression on the car.

The bottom of the hood has an iconic 3.8 liter 6-cylinder engine combined with an Electronic Fuel Injection and a five-speed manual gyrbox.

Although this car comes with an ancient look, Jaguar still submerges modern elements in its models such as Bluetooth radio designed by Jaguar Classic and a maned windshield.
