Trying Aion Hyptec HT Jakarta-Bogor-Jakarta Route, Premium Electric SUV With Latest Technology

JAKARTA - Aion Indonesia has just introduced its electric car lineup in the country, and one of the models that stole the most attention was the Luxury Hyptec HT SUV. Although the price has not been announced, this model has become a byword among automotive lovers.

Recently, Aion Indonesia invited a number of media, including the VOI team, to experience firsthand the HT Hyptec driving experience, a premium SUV that promises high-end comfort.

Hyptec HT combines elegant and stylish designs that produce futuristic displays. This design redefines the concept of luxury in driving. The front is equipped with a Diamond Cut Headlight light that gives a luxurious impression. Dynamic body lines create futuristic silhouettes, plus 20-inch rims that add to the strong impression. In dimensions, Hyptec HT has a length of 4,935 mm, a width of 1,920 mm, a height of 1,700 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,935 mm, providing an ideal proportion to a premium SUV.

The SUV is equipped with various advanced features such as the Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), and the AUTOHOLD System. There are also security features such as the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Hill Hold Control (HHC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), and Traffic Control System (TCS). For safety, there are airbags front, side, side, and curtain, as well as seat belt reminders features, the ISOFIX Child Safety Seat Interface, and the Anti-theft Alarm System.

Impressive Driving Sensation

The driving experience started from Aion dealer at Warung Buncit to Bogor, West Java. As the front passenger, the VOI team immediately felt the comfort of a first class with an electric seat equipped with regulated footwear. This sensation is even more pronounced when entering the Bogor area and changing positions to become a driver. HT's Hyptec handling feels very mature, with a soft suspension while passing over a bumpy road.

However, almost all car settings are centered on the center screen, which means drivers need time to get used to this system. Starting from the room cooler settings to the rearview mirror, everything is accessed through the screen.

On the way back to Jakarta, the VOI team tried to sit in the back seat. With a height of 170 cm, the sitting position feels very comfortable. The back seat can be adjusted to an angle of 143 degrees, providing a spacious footspace and a practical storage area. The comfort is even more perfect with the entertainment of the Dolby Atmos audio system, creating a fun atmosphere during the trip.

Tough And Efficient Performance

Hyptec HT comes with a Magazine Battery 2.0 technology with a capacity of 83 kWh, which can cover more than 600 km in a single full charge. This makes it ideal for long-distance travel without worrying about running out of power. Powered 250 kW or equivalent to 335 HP and 430 Nm torque, this SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 5.8 seconds.
