Chinese Car Brand Seres Greet Philippine Market, Bring Three Models At Once

The Seres of the Chinese car brand continues to expand its market share in Asia, now officially entering the Philippines with the Seres 5 model, Seres SF and Seres 7 which have also been introduced in Indonesia.

Based on a report from Top Gear PH, Thursday, June 6, for the Philippine market, Seres collaborated with the Philippine QSJ Motors appointed as a local distributor, aiming to introduce new energy vehicles featuring high technology and luxury.

All vehicles brought to the Philippines are based on the MF platform, which offers a wide range of options, such as pure electric vehicles, extended range to hybrid.

Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the models mentioned above, but the arrival of Seres is certainly an interesting thing for the Philippine market. Moreover, each model will fill a different segment.

In addition, all existing models have one thing in common where the interior is completely covered with skin, while the wood accent is made very slick makes it look more prominent. The look is also very similar to the models in China, with wooden accents.

If you look at the specifications in China, this one model enters the five-door crossover segment with a standout design. For example, the design of a hidden door handle, a lock system with a key sensor and control. Seres 5 combines the best future technology with a modern design.

Meanwhile, the 5SF Seres is equipped with a panoramic roof and comes with modern technology. This one car itself was introduced in Indonesia in 2021, which is equipped with 2 high performance electric motors in the form of SEPT200AC with 255 kW power in front and for the back of the HW150 type with a power of 150 kW.

The claim from the Research and Development (R&D) DFSK car is able to accelerate 0 to 100 kilometers per hour, which only takes 4.7 seconds.

Lastly, Seres 7, this SUV comes with a design similar to the Range Rover. This one car was introduced in Indonesia last week by offering special luxury. Including, combining a combination of 40 kWh battery power with a 1.5 liter turbo gasoline engine that functions as an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV).
