This Is Mega Specification, A Futuristic MPV With Advanced Technology That Will Launch March 1

JAKARTA - Chinese vehicle company Li Auto announced the launch of a pure electric Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) vehicle on March 1 and its specifications have now been disclosed.

This MPV called Mega offers various interior packages, suspensions, and packages of autonomous driving systems to meet the needs and lifestyles.

Launching Carnewschina, February 26, this MPV is equipped with two options for autonomous driving packages, namely the AD Pro, which is a standard package equipped with a single Horizon Journey 5 chip that supports features such as Autopilot Navigation (NOA) on toll roads, Central Control. Line (LCC), Automatic Parking Assistance, Automatic Emergency braking (AEB), and the function of ELK.

Then AD Max, the top option is to use two Nvidia Orin-X processors and the LiDAR Hesai sensor to improve Autopilot navigation capabilities on highways and cities, as well as an advanced AVP self-parking system. Not to forget, the AEB system is also being refined.

Meanwhile, the interior is also divided into three packages starting with the SS Pro which is the standard package equipped with two 15.7-inch LCD screens on the center console, powered by the Snapdragon 8295 chip. Plus a monitor on the steering wheel, head-up display, RGB+IR camera, and Dolby audio system.

Then there's SS Max, the second option that adds another 15.7-inch 3K LCD screen for second and third row passengers, as well as a performance version of Snapdragon 8295 chip.

The top interior option is the SS Top package, using an OLED display, not an LCD, and a 4D vibration system for extra convenience in the second row.

All Li Auto Mega variants are equipped with air suspensions. However, the standard version uses a single-chamber air suspension with the CDC damping system. Other variants offer dual-chamber air suspensions for better driving convenience. Both can adjust the ground clearance automatically.

Li Auto Mega has a large dimension (4350/1965/1850 mm) with a wheelbase of 3300 mm, just like MPV in general. The design is futuristic with a drag coefficient of only 0.215 Cd, even better than Porsche Taycan.

This car is equipped with two combined 400 kW electric motors and a 102.7 kWh ternary NMC battery from CATL, which is capable of traveling a distance of up to 710 km. Fast charging is also possible with a power of 500 kW DC.

Li Auto Mega is ready to be launched on March 1st. The price is estimated to not exceed 600,000 yuan (around Rp1.3 billion). With a myriad of technology and features offered, Li Auto Mega is ready to become the future leading electricity MPV.
