JAKARTA - MG Motor Indonesia has officially announced the price of local Indonesian products, MG4 EV and ZS EV. Both have a tag below IDR 500 million.

For the latest price, MG4 EV began at Rp433 million or a decrease of Rp216 million after being assembled locally. Meanwhile, ZS EV is at Rp453 million. However, the prices of these two models actually rose on the Australian market.

Reporting from Drive, Wednesday, January 10, MG4 EV or called MG4 Excite 51 in Australia and ZS EV experienced an increase in prices of up to 3,700 Australian dollars or around Rp. 38.6 million, which includes shipping costs and others.

For the MG4 Excite 51, ZS EV Excite, and ZS EV Essence, all three experienced an increase in the price of 1.000 Australian dollars or around Rp. 10.4 million. Meanwhile, the ZS EV Long Range price was increased by 2.000 Australian dollars or Rp. 20.8 million.

In addition, a significant increase in prices fell to the ZS EV Long Range model in the New South Wales region of up to 3,700 Australian dollars.

MG Australia said that the price increase was caused by material price increases, delivery costs, currency fluctuations. Meanwhile, soaring prices of ZS EV Long Range in New South Wales were caused by the removal of customs stamprai exemptions for the purchase of new electric vehicles in the region.

Thus, MG4 Excite 51 is currently priced from USD 40,287 (420.7 million), an increase to USD 41,287 (IDR 431.1 million). Meanwhile, MG ZS EV has a tag from USD 42,287 (IDR 441.6 million) up to USD 43,287 (IDR 452 million) for Excite and Essence from USD 45,273 million) to USD 46,287.
