Chevrolet Launches Camaro SS Festival Edition For Cast 500

JAKARTA - Ahead of the big cast 500 race, Chevrolet produced 50 Camaro 2023 festival models aimed at promoting the legendary race in the United States.

Each Camaro SS festival uses a Sharkskin Metallic paint color, with a touch of black and red stripes, as well as thesome 500 logo in commemoration of the 127th race.

Reporting from Motor1, Monday, April 10, 2023, the Camaro SS of the Convertible type with a V8 6.2 liter Naturally-Aspirated (NA) engine is capable of issuing 455 dk of power and 616 Nm of torque.

This car is also equipped with a 20-inch rim that hides the Brembo brakes on the front and rear. Drivers can lower the vertible roof at speeds of up to 48 km/hour.

The Chevrolet Camaro SS edition of the 112 500 Festival will be sold by the crew after the race is over. This year, the race, which takes place in Indianapolis Motor Speedway, is scheduled for Sunday, May 28.

Chevrolet has launched a pace car for the grand race since 1967, their first guide car is the first generation Camaro model.

Camaro last served as a pace car in 2016. Then, Camaro was replaced by his brother, Corvette over the past six years. For 2023, Corvette Z06 will still be the car guide this May to be driven by the formerikusCar racer, Sarah Fisher.
