JAKARTA - The daughter of Microsoft founder Bill Gates married a horse rider of Egyptian descent, Nayel Naser today, Saturday, October 16. It is known, the wedding cost millions of US dollars.

Jennifer Gates and Muslim man Nassar's wedding was held on a 124-hectare family horse farm worth $16 million (IDR 225 billion). It is located in Northern Westchester, New York.

Cited from the Daily Voice, Sunday, October 17, Jennifer and Nassar's wedding is estimated to cost USD 2 million (IDR 28.1 billion).

Prior to the party, the Gates family reportedly laid out the ranch in such a way, including a built-in pavilion on the property with floor-to-ceiling windows and hardwood floors.

Sources say that with the presence of high-profile guests, Gates made a special request to Northern Westchester city officials to block roads that pass through plantation fields to provide extra privacy during the event.

"We have raised three wonderful children and built a foundation that works around the world to enable everyone to live healthy and productive lives," the Gates family said in a statement.

"We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life."

Jennifer and her mother, Melinda, reportedly spent a week in New York City pampering themselves with spas, trips to salons, and stays at luxury Manhattan hotels.

"They started the celebrations yesterday in NYC," a source told PEOPLE. "Jennifer was with her family and friends yesterday and Nayel was with her. They both seem really excited for the wedding."

Jennifer and Nassar have been engaged since January 2020 after they met on the professional horse racing jump circuit. Now, they are officially husband and wife.
