Alice Cooper Call 5 Percent Of Muslim Population Support ISIS

JAKARTA - Legendary rocker Alice Cooper talks to Dave Lawrence of Hawaii Public Radio about ISIS. This is related to racial acts that occur in the United States.

"Five percent of the (American) Muslim population - maybe five percent - support ISIS," said Alice.

"The rest of them are like us. If you put Muslim families with American families, they will have a barbecue and they won't even talk about politics, but there is always a five percent who will disappoint the whole world," Alice explained.

Alice's statement was not without prefix. The rocker had previously compared the Black Lives Matter movement protesting police brutality to events that took place in the 1960s. It was then turmoil as people marched to fight for civil rights, women's rights, and against America's war in Vietnam.

"Well, wouldn't it be wonderful that it was 50, 60 years ago, and we are still dealing with the same problem?" said Alice. "You would think that would solve the problem. But there are always five percent of people who are racist," Alice said.

To be honest, continued Alice, he knew a lot of policemen but not one policeman he knew racist. But he guarantees that five percent of the police in every city have racial problems and he thinks we have to look at that like almost everything. The full interview is below:

Apart from the question of ISIS and Black Lives Matter, Alice released a new single in May, titled Don't Give Up. Produced by long-time collaborator Alice, Bob Ezrin using long-range technology, the song is a spontaneous response to the challenges faced today.

The song will be available in a limited number of 7 "LPs format on August 14th via earMUSIC.

Alice has also just completed her newest album, Detroit Stories. This album features collaborations with a number of top musicians, including Wayne Kramer (MC5), Johnny 'Bee' Badanjek (Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels), and Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad).
