JAKARTA - Actress Jessica Iskandar has reportedly changed her religion again because of her partner. In fact, some time ago, he had just undergone baptism.

Through her Instagram, Jessica made a question and answer session. One of the questions was whether he was willing to convert to follow his girlfriend's beliefs.

The woman who is familiarly called Jedar replied, "Religion is a personal choice, a relationship is a commitment."

Jedar had just been baptized by a priest named Andre Talabessy. He claimed to feel closer to God after all the events that befell his life.

“God, everything, decisions, paths that I took and passed I really prayed, really asked God for help. Actually we are just ordinary people, we are only small but we have a big God, whatever God wants to happen, it will happen," said Jedar quoted from Dapur Bisnis Online.

This is not the first time Jessica Iskandar has been rumored to have changed religions. Previously, in November 2020, it was reported that Jedar had changed his religion. This happened because Jedar began to follow local traditional traditions after moving to Bali.

After that, several netizens defended Jedar and explained that the tradition that Jedar follows is melukat. This process of cleansing the mind and soul can be carried out by any society.

Jessica Iskandar is also rumored to be close to a man named Vincent Verhaag. Through his Instagram, Jedar often shares moments with Vincent and calls him a friend.
