How Berita Angkasa Responds To Pandemic: Debut Compilation Album "Adaptation" Compilation

JAKARTA - Berita Angkasa released a compilation album entitled "Adaptation Adaptation". In this project, a record label from Jakarta collaborates with musicians from across genres, such as Arya Novanda, Rizkia Larasati, taRRkam, Batavia Collective, Morad, Kamga, Ether, Sapphira Singgih, and Rafi Muhammad. This compilation album was released to coincide with the fifth anniversary of Berita Angkasa.

Seeing the progress of Berita Angkasa so far, it is quite surprising to see a series of words in the press release that mention "Adaptation" as the first compilation album they released.

In this project, Berita Angkasa released their music material on various music streaming platforms. Apart from that, they also released a video compilation. The 31.17 minute video clip is divided into seven different materials featuring a video clip of each number in "Adapted Adaptation".

Arya Novanda and Rizkia Larasati filled the first number through the song Shinny Gold. Furthermore, the "festival" was continued by Sapphira Singgih (Penumbra), Batavia Collective ft Kamga (Affirmation), taRRkam (Woman Ecstasy), Morad (If Tomorrow I'm Losing You, Ether (In the South), before being closed by Rafi Muhammad ft Kevin Suwandhi and Randy MP with the song Pandemic Remix.

Rizma Arizky, head of Berita Angkasa, explained the unique and simple process of curation. Not much adventurous, said Rizma. "If we like it, just brush. The important thing is not too many songs."

Another interesting side, from all the performers in the album, Berita Angkasa only involved two musicians who officially stood under their auspices: Sapphira Singgih and Rafi Muhammad. Even if you count the drummer's name Rocket Aviation Group, Viki Vikranta, who appeared through his solo project, Ether.

According to Rizma, this was intentional. They want this compilation album to be more open. "I want this album to feel hang out. Not Angkasa-Sentric News," said Rizma in a press release received by VOI some time ago.
