4 Reasons To Watch Korean Drama, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

JAKARTA - At the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha virtual press conference, Tuesday, August 24, Kim Seon-ho, Shin Min Ah, and Lee Sang Yi compactly shared their reasons for being interested in the drama directed by Yoo Je Won.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is a remake of the film Mr. Hong, which was released in 2004. The story is, a dentist named Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min Ah) opens a dental clinic in the seaside village of Gongjin.

Then there is Hong Du-Sik (Kim Seon Ho), an unemployed man who likes to help people in the village. As a result, he is called the village hero because he is always relied on.

The two have different traits and meet on one occasion. However, they are attracted to each other. Here are 4 reasons to watch the drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha which will start airing August 28 on Netflix.

1. Good Script

"I thought about what I could present for this (drama). When I read the script, I thought the story was heartwarming," said Kim Seon Ho.

“The script is very enjoyable. It feels good to be back in rom-com. When I was trying to find a rom-com (project) I found this series. I was attracted to the character," said Shin Min Ah.

2. Come Back Shin Min Ah Shin Min Ah hasn't played Korean dramas for a long time, fans are certainly looking forward to it. This time, Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah are nicknamed the dimple couple because they both have deep dimples.

“I didn't feel the atmosphere when we took photos together. But it cheers me up when someone says we look good and match," said Kim Seon Ho.

3. Simple But Warm Story

Yoo Je Won as the director wants to bring something new in Mr. Hong. “This (drama) is not about big events but simple events. Hopefully you will be entertained by the scenery and it can be a warm spectacle," he said.

4. Great Chemistry

All three players have important points from Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha to look forward to. "All the scenes are good and healing so the events in this drama can happen to all of us," said Kim Seon Ho.

Another is Shin Min Ah who considers the chemistry of the players to be an important point. “There are a lot of characters with great chemistry!” he said.

“This drama can be a source of energy for everyone. There is a dramatic side but I'm sure you will enjoy it," said Lee Sang Yi.
