Denny Sumargo Becomes Crazy

JAKARTA - Denny Sumargo's appearance in the film Ballad of a Crazy Lover is very different from his daily appearance. As the title implies, Densu becomes Djarot, a madman under the direction of Anggy Umbara.

Djarot is often put in an isolation room in a mental hospital, for being rude, even killing people who bully and degrade his dignity. Meanwhile Lastri was given a relatively light sentence in a prison for killing and mutilating the genitals of depraved men who took turns raping her.

Both of them went through difficult and difficult times when they left the two institutions. But still they live it with ease and full of laughter. They were forced to become homeless people who picked up bottles, ate from the garbage and slept on the overhang of the road. Even Lastri also has to live a life as a prostitute which she doesn't like at all.

During filming, Denny Sumargo admitted that he really enjoyed the process. "In terms of the story, this film is very interesting. The work is also okay. In terms of acting, I think this is my performance that I really enjoy when playing it, or maybe I fit into a crazy person," said Denny.

Meanwhile, Sara Fajira also admitted that she was grateful to be a part of the film Ballad of a Crazy Lover. Because, he met co-stars like Denny Sumargo who really helped him in the shooting process.

Sara also emphasized the moral message in the film Ballad of a Crazy Lover. "I cried while filming, I can't imagine what it would be like if women were harassed. Just filming, I ran out of words. I think it's important to respect women. The problem is that people don't want to respect, imagine a crazy person being raped," he explained.
