Gita Savitri Explains The Reason For Not Wanting To Have Children

JAKARTA - Writer and YouTuber Gita Savitri became a conversation after her statement that she did not want to have children or was called childfree.

Through a question and answer session on Instagram, a netizen asked what would Gita's reaction be if she and her husband, Paul Andre Partohap were blessed with children.

“In my life dictionary, “suddenly given” is very unlikely. In my opinion, it is easier not to have children than to have children because there are so many preventive things that are usually done to not have one,” Gita replied.

Gita herself has stated that she and Paul are childfree. This is because Gita has no desire to be a mother and give birth to children.

Unfortunately, the term childfree in Indonesia still sounds foreign, so it is not uncommon for Gita to often get questions and even criticism about her decisions.

Meanwhile, another netizen asked how Gita would deal with those who were against his decision.

According to him, if a person is happy with the life of having children, he will not have to interfere with other people who have different principles.
