BTS, TWICE, And IU Are The Top Of The South Korean Agency Survey Version

JAKARTA - Entertainment agencies in South Korea are again distributing polls related to idols who are in vogue. Every year, this survey is conducted by Sports Seoul on 50 different agencies, including JYP Entertainment, Pledis Entertainment, SM Entertainment, Label SJ (Super Junior), Amoeba Culture, and many others.

In the category of Power People or the strongest person who changed the industry, BTS won the poll with a score of 68 points. Followed by SM Entertainment producer Lee Soo Man, Big Hit Entertainment producer Bang Si Hyuk, JYP Entertainment producer Park Jin Young, and IU.

The three producers from the agency were also named as the best K-pop producers at number one, followed by Zico, the rapper and soloist from the Block B group and Teddy who handled many of YG Entertainment's artist songs.

For the best boy group category, the positions of BTS, EXO, and SEVENTEEN have not been replaced since the previous year. They occupy the first three followed by NCT, BIGBANG, and MONSTA X.

Likewise, K-pop girl groups are still led by three groups from the three biggest agencies, TWICE, BLACKPINK, and Red Velvet. Interestingly, the name Oh My Girl came following the three groups. Oh My Girl's charm and popularity have been felt since their presence in the Queendom competition. They managed to show their ability to be equal to the senior group.

On the best male soloist survey, there were Block B's Zico, Rain, and Paul Kim. These mixed names from three generations were followed by Baekhyun EXO and BIGBANG's G-Dragon who won 16 points.

IU, who entered the power people section, is still considered the best female soloist with 115 points. Followed by Girls Generation's Taeyeon, Chungha, Heize, and Sunmi.

New names in the K-pop industry are always intriguing. In this survey, TXT, Big Hit Entertainment's new orbiting group, led the Best Rising Stars survey, followed by ITZY. Then there is the SM rookie girl group, a group project belonging to SM Entertainment. The group has yet to be announced but the public has been waiting for the anticipation.

The last one is a survey of the best K-pop agencies. SM Entertainment led the way with 98 points followed by Big Hit Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and YG Entertainment.

Looking at the survey order list every year, there is no significant change even though there are always new groups that debut this year. However, this success and recognition cannot be separated from the group's efforts to synergize with their agency. Is there a favorite of yours on this list?
