JAKARTA - Sad news came from the family of musicians Vincent Rompies and Cliff Rompies. Saturday, July 24, their father, Jan Rompies reportedly died in the early hours of the morning.

This news was first shared by Cliff through his Instagram account. "Having returned to the house of our beloved Father, Daddy and Opa, Jan Rompies on Saturday 24 July 2020 at 1:30 WIB.

"Farewell to the House of the Holy Father," said Cliff ending the post.

The younger brother, Vincent uploaded the song Burry Me Down by The River belonging to the Bee Gees on Instagram Story. He mentioned his father's account along with a kiss emoji.

Presenter and friend of Vincent, Desta also expressed his condolences. “Goodbye Om @janrompies. Invite my papa karaoke there, Om .. "said Desta. Together with his wife, the two recorded the moment Vincent's family watered his father's grave.

Actress Hesti Purwadinata uploaded a photo of Vincent hugging his father's tomb along with the caption, "Delivering with joy."

Enzy Storia also wrote condolences via Instagram Story. "My deepest condolences, rest in peace Opa Jan, now you are not sick anymore," he said referring to Vincent and Cliff's accounts.

Desta, Hesti, and Enzy are relatives of Vincent as presenters of the Tonight Show television program on NET TV. The three compact accompanied Vincent to take Jan Rompies to his final resting place.
