Get Ready For A Fun Collaboration Between Si Juki And Spongebob Squarepants

JAKARTA - Faza Meonk, the creator of Si Juki, cannot express his joy in collaborating with the cartoon character Spongebob Squarepants. This collaborative project will be carried out in order to welcome the 20th anniversary of the broadcast of the Spongebob Squarepants series.

"I was moved, from the start I just watched and loved Spongebob, now Collab is officially invited to," wrote Faza via his Twitter account @FazaMeonk.

In fact, Faza said that the collaboration project of the two famous characters had been carried out since 2018. The collaboration between the comic artist from Indonesia and the Nickelodeon production house is planned to be announced soon.

According to Faza, one of the reasons Nickelodeon asked him to work together to combine the two characters was because they read information about Si Juki on the English Wikipedia.

".. It was written there that I was inspired a lot to make Juki because Spongebob can serve layered Jokes, adults, teenagers, children can laugh together watching Spongebob," he said.

Faza said that the collaboration between Si Juki and Spongebob will soon be announced at the end of 2019. "On the 20th we will launch," said Faza.

This is not the first time that Si Juki's character has collaborated with other characters. This character has appeared with a character from Ginseng Country to promote Seoul to BoBoiBoy from Malaysia.

This character has also been adapted to the big screen at the end of 2017 and will be present in the new film Si Juki the Movie: Harta Pulau Monyet next year with famous voice actors, such as Jaja Miharja, Maya Wulan, Indro Warkop and Mandra.

Meanwhile, Spongebob will also appear in the feature film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run which is scheduled to air in 2020.

The film, which was directed and written by Tim Hill, involved voice actors such as Tom Kenny, Awkwafina, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Douglas Lawrence, and Reggie Watts.
