Synopsis Drama Sweet Munchies Starring Jung Il Woo, Which Airs May 25

JAKARTA - Drama Sweet Munchies is JTBC's latest drama which was previously titled Late Night Snack Man and Woman. This drama is Jung Il Woo's latest project after serving in the military. Apart from Il Woo, there are Kang Ji Young and Lee Hak Joo who are currently popular after playing Park In Kyu in The World of the Married.

On May 22, JTBC released a highlight video for Sweet Munchies, which featured a little leak of the drama's story. This five-minute video shows the performers dancing to a song.

Then, several scenes show the story of Sweet Munchies' beginnings when Park Jin Sung (Jung Il Woo) tries various ways to maintain his bistro. He wants to borrow money from his partner. Kim Ah Jin (Kang Ji Young), producer and director (PD) of a variety show feels sad because his job doesn't give him a break.

Kang Tae Wan (Lee Hak Joo) looks sluggish even though he is a great designer whose products are known to many people.

Sweet Munchies tells the story of a love triangle between Kim Ah Jin and Kang Tae Wan that overcomes Park Jin Sung, a celebrity chef who owns a bistro business. Kang Tae Wan worries that Kim Ah Jin likes Park Jin Sung.

But on the other hand, Kim Ah Jin felt a strange feeling when she saw Park Jin Sung and Kang Tae Wan. The highlight video ends with Ah Jin who is shocked when he sees Jin Sung and Tae Wan together. Kim Ah Jin went straight to buy coffee to avoid them.

Prior to its premiere, the Sweet Munchies cast will hold a press conference to talk about the drama's production process. Sweet Munchies was directed by Song Ji Won which made this drama the second project after King 2 Hearts in 2012.
