Korean Drama Healer Will Be Adapted To A Webtoon Version

JAKARTA - Six years later, the Korean drama Healer will be adapted in a webtoon version. This is a new phenomenon, considering that webtoons are usually first made in the form of spectacle.

Healer is a Korean drama starring Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young. This drama tells of several mysterious events. As reporters, they try to find the truth even though they are against the big media directors.

Healer is the second Korean drama to be adapted in the form of a webtoon. Previously, Fight For My Way was the first title to get this opportunity.

Aired in 2014-2015, this drama successfully catapulted Ji Chang Wook's name. His career began to be known outside South Korea.

At that time, Yoo Ji Tae also chose Healer as his new project after six years of not acting in the television world.

Healer achieved the highest rating of 10 percent when it was broadcast on the KBS2 television station. Thanks to his success, Healer won Best Korean Drama and Best Couple at the KBS Drama Awards.

It is not yet known whether there will be adjustments to the story in the webtoon version of Healer but Healer can be accessed through webtoon platforms such as Naver and Kakao.
