JAKARTA - The Narcotics Crime Directorate (Dittipidnarkoba) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police continues to investigate the case of alleged misuse of nitrous oxide gas (N2O) branded Whip Pink.

Deputy Head of Sub-Directorate III of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Kombes Pol Zulkarnain Harahap, said that he had recently received testimony from a woman with the initials CD from Jakarta who did not deny having consumed Whip Pink in the past year.

"The CD has met the call and was present on Friday. The person concerned admitted that he had bought 20 tubes of Whip Pink in the range from the end of 2025 to the beginning of 2026," Zulkarnain said in a written statement quoted by VOI, Saturday, May 30.

Furthermore, CD tells the story that he got the goods in a fairly easy way. He just searched for information through the Google search engine with the keyword 'Whip Cream'.

From the search results, CD was directed to communicate via WhatsApp message with the admin of PT Suplaindo Sukses Sejahtera (PT SSS).

"After that, he filled out the order form and made a payment transfer through personal mobile banking. The goods were then delivered by a courier within about an hour," explained Zulkarnain.

Previously, the name of YouTuber and musician Reza Arap was associated with the use of nitrous oxide (N2O) gas branded Whip Pink after netizens found a bottle of Whip Pink in one of his live broadcasts. No wonder, the woman with the initials CD is called Reza Arap's assistant, namely Cynthia Dewi.

In addition to the CD, the police also summoned several other influencers who were suspected of consuming the dangerous gas, such as ZNM, RV and APG.

However, ZNM did not appear for the examination after two police calls. Investigators are currently preparing a compulsory arrest warrant for the person concerned.

In addition to ZNM, the Bareskrim investigators also issued a summons to RV and APG. However, the two also did not meet the summons of the investigators.

Seeing this, the General Chairman of the Anti-Drug Patriot (Patron) Muannas Alaidid appreciated the firm steps of the Narcotics Crime Directorate (Dittipidnarkoba) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police who will forcibly pick up the social media influencer with the initials ZNM in the development of the case of the manufacturer of N2O gas brand Whip Pink.

According to Muannas, the decision of the investigators to issue a summons to bring a witness who absconded shows the seriousness of the National Police in enforcing the law regardless of a person's social status or popularity.

"We appreciate the firm steps of the Bareskrim Polri Narcotics Division which will issue a Letter of Order to Bring Witnesses who do not meet the summons for examination. This shows that the law applies equally to everyone, including public figures and influencers. There should be no special treatment in the law enforcement process," said Muannas.

Muannas assessed that the presence of witnesses in the investigation process is a legal obligation that must be obeyed in order to support the disclosure of cases objectively and transparently.

"Every citizen has an obligation to respect the legal process. When investigators need information in order to develop a case, the party called should be present and provide the necessary explanation. The absence without a valid reason can certainly hinder the law enforcement process," he said.
