JAKARTA - Keeping the body healthy and having well-maintained skin is now part of many people's lifestyles, including for actress Raline Shah.

This 41-year-old woman always keeps her lifestyle balanced, both through regular exercise to choosing the right intake to keep her body and skin fit.

Raline admitted that she was grateful for not having serious skin problems at the moment. Even so, she had experienced acne problems during puberty, which later made her understand the importance of maintaining body health from within.

"The skin is the largest organ in our body. So it is very related to body conditions, digestive systems, to hormones as well," said Raline Shah when met at the Bear Brand Collagen & Vitamin C event at Smash Padel, TB Simatupang, South Jakarta, recently.

In maintaining skin health, Raline chooses to eat natural foods and reduce the intake of ultra-processed foods. In addition, he regularly takes vitamins and supporting supplements such as vitamin C and collagen to help maintain the body's resistance as well as skin health.

"Vitamins such as collagen and vitamin C really help support my skin health. In addition, it also helps maintain immunity and general body health," he added.

Not only focusing on skin health, Raline also maintains her body condition through the habit of actively moving. In the midst of a busy schedule and high mobility, she still makes time to exercise regularly.

He admitted that he did weight training about two to three times a week. Meanwhile, for cardio exercises such as walking or swimming, he did it almost every day for 30 to 45 minutes in the morning.

Even when traveling or staying at a hotel, he tries to take time for light exercise. Although disciplined in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Raline does not limit himself excessively in matters of food.

He admitted that he still enjoyed his favorite culinary dishes such as Soto Medan, Sate Padang, to Nasi Padang.

According to him, food is also part of comfort and happiness, especially when activities are busy or when traveling. Therefore, he prefers to maintain balance rather than implementing too many prohibitions.

"For me, food is also part of comfort. So I don't want to be too stressed with many prohibitions, but still balanced with exercise and maintaining the portion," he explained.

Raline also believes that maintaining mental health is just as important as maintaining a diet. He assessed that feeling guilty after eating could actually trigger stress that would have a negative impact on the body.

"If you eat something unhealthy, don't add it with guilt. Because stress can also have an impact on our bodies," he concluded.
