Condolences, Virzha Singer's Father Dies

JAKARTA - The sad news came from the Indonesian music world. Well-known singer Muhammad Devirzha, or more familiarly called Virzha, conveyed the sad news of the death of his beloved father.

The news was shared directly by the vocalist of the Dewa 19 band through his personal Instagram account, @virzhaofficial. In his latest upload, Virzha posted a black and white photo of his father wearing a batik shirt and glasses, smiling at the camera.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihi roji'un. Papa saya telah berpulang," tulis Virzha dalam keterangan unggahan di akun Instagram-nya, Jumat, 22.

Immediately, the upload was immediately flooded with condolences from fellow musicians, public figures, to fans. They prayed that the deceased would get the best place on the side of the Almighty God.

"Please pray for him," added the singer of the song Aku Lelakimu in his brief statement.

Until this news was released, there was no further information regarding the cause of Virzha's father's death or the location and time of the funeral.

Virzha himself has always been known as a figure who is quite secretive about his personal life. However, the departure of his father was certainly a deep grief for the singer who won the talent search.
