JAKARTA - Unlike April, May comes with six new Korean dramas. Various genres that aired also added excitement from Korean dramas that are increasingly varied in their stories.

Actor and singer Park Ji Hoon will return with the drama The Legend of Kitchen Soldier. He received a positive response thanks to his role in the film The King's Warden and released the song Bodyelse last month.

Azure Spring

Adapted from the webtoon of the same name, Azure Spring tells the story of Deok Hyeon (Kang Sang Jun) and Anna (Kim Yerim), two Hanyeo (female divers) to escape the burden of life. The two restore each other. Azure Spring has six episodes and airs from May 11.

The Legend of Kitchen Soldier

Adapted from a webcomic, The Legend of Kitchen Soldier tells the story of Kang Seong Jae (Park Ji Hoon), a soldier who was transferred to Gangrim Post where he met Park Jae Young (Yoon Kyung Ho), Jo Ye Rin (Han Dong Hee), and Yoon Dong Hyeon (Lee Hong Nae). He is assigned to start working in the cafeteria and develop his cooking skills. The Legend of Kitchen Soldier will premiere on May 11.

The WonderFOOLS

The WONDERfools tells the story of Eun Chae Ni (Park Eun Bin) who is surprised by the power she gets after an accident. Her neighbors - Son Gyeong Un (Choi Dae Hoon) and Kang Ro Bin (Im Sung Jae) also get the same thing. On the other hand, there is Lee Un Jeong (Cha Eun Woo), a civil servant who seeks the truth behind the mystery of the disappearance of residents in Haeseong. The WonderFOOLS series will be released on May 15.

Fifties Professionals

As the title suggests, Fifties Professionals highlights three men who were demoted to Yeongseon Island. Now, they are finding out the truth behind the incident. They are agents Jung Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun), Bong Se Joon (Oh Jung Se), and Kang Beom Ryeong (Heo Sung Tae). Fifties Professionals will air starting May 22.

Reborn Rookie

Adapted from a web novel, Reborn Rookie tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the founder of the Choiseong Group who one day faces Hwang Joon Hyun (Lee Jun Young), a soccer player. Their souls are swapped in different conditions. Yong Ho finally embarks on his new journey as an employee of the Choiseong Group. Reborn Rookie will air starting May 30.
