JAKARTA - Celebrity and entrepreneur Atta Halilintar officially took on a new role as Executive Producer for the Garuda animated film project in Dadaku (GDD).

For Atta, his involvement in this project is not just a business matter, but a tangible manifestation of his childhood dream.

Atta admitted that he was very enthusiastic when this project offer came to him. He even immediately agreed without seeing the quality of the animation first.

"Alhamdulillah, today it can happen. If earlier Ms. Shanty said that the dream came true, I also dream come true. I dream that my dream comes true," said Atta Halilintar in South Jakarta, Tuesday, April 7.

Atta's love for Garuda in Dadaku has been ingrained since he was a child. Watching the film version of it at that time was successful in nurturing his dream to become a football athlete.

"Because when I was a child I watched Garuda in my heart... I wanted to be a football player, I wanted to be a futsal player who could defend the Indonesian national team. I think Putra and Bayu are figures who represent many boys in Indonesia," he recalled.

In this animation project, Atta revealed three main reasons that made him determined to join. The first reason is his deep love for football, even though this hobby often made him scolded by his family.

"From childhood, when I played football, my parents always scolded me. Every time I came home, if I didn't get injured, I had a bloody beret, ankle. But because my dream was to be a player, I continued," he explained.

That love did not fade until he grew up. Atta even has his own football and futsal club. However, his hobby of digging into this pocket was often protested by his wife.

"Alhamdulillah now I'm married, I'm still angry... I'm angry with my wife now. My wife said, 'You think about the children. Why do you keep the ball? This is your money," said Atta, imitating his wife's words.

Even so, Atta always defended himself by showing off the achievements of his players who managed to penetrate the Indonesian National Team. Fortunately, the Garuda animation project in Dadaku actually received full support from his wife. This is the second reason why Atta joined this project: for his children.

"Why is this approved? Because it turns out that with the existence of GDD, I think about my children. Because when I was there every week I had to go to the cinema because my children love watching," he explained.

Until now, Atta felt that animated entertainment in the cinema was always dominated by foreign works. He is very looking forward to quality local animated works that he can enjoy with his family on weekends.

"And this is GDD, I said, 'Honey, it seems like investing here is the investment for the child as well, honey'," he said reassuring his wife.

Finally, Atta's third reason is about legacy. He hopes that this animation can be a spark for the Indonesian youth, especially in the midst of sadness because Indonesia is absent from the World Cup.

"Whatever work we all do today... this is a legacy that hopefully our animation will get better, hopefully giving birth to new dreams for young Indonesians," he said.

Atta believes that dreams coupled with clear goals will lead to success, just as what he has experienced thanks to his love of football.

"So believe in a dream, with a will - because dreams with goals, God willing, many Indonesian children can be more successful later," concluded Atta.

No dream stands alone. This spirit is the soul of the family animation film Garuda Di Dadakusaat BASE Entertainment together with KAWI Animation officially launches the official trailer, official poster, and the main soundtrack titled "Garuda Di Dadaku" performed by Isyana Sarasvati.

This momentum is a big step towards the film's release on June 11, 2026, presenting a story about the courage, cooperation, and dreams of Indonesian children who grow through the support of those around them. As a family film for the school holiday season, Garuda Di Dadaku carries the spirit of football, friendship, and the courage to rise to pursue dreams together.

The latest official trailer shows a more complete story world centered on Putra (Keanu Azka), a boy with a big dream to become the best Indonesian footballer, and Gaga (Kristo Immanuel), a magical little Garuda figure who appears when Putra starts to lose faith in himself.

But this film is not only about one child's journey to pursue his dreams. The trailer shows that Putra's courage grows because there are people who believe in him - Gaga, Naya (Quinn Salman), his friends, and the team who walk with him. Their presence confirms that every dream needs people who are able to see our potential, even when we ourselves are still hesitant.
