"Rainbow on Mars" Film Balloon Airs in Jakarta Ahead of Screening

JAKARTA - The film Pelangi di Mars produced by Mahakarya Pictures made a splash by launching a giant balloon 10 meters high on Thursday, February 19. Launched in the SCBD area, this balloon is expected to be a form of promotion for the Indonesian people.

Pelangi di Mars yang disutradarai Upie Guava merupakan film keluarga terbaru yang menggabungkan dunia fiksi ilmiah dengan cerita keluarga. Dengan properti intelektual orisinal terbaru, film ini berharap karakternya mendapat tempat di hati penonton.

"Why do I as an artist and director force myself to make Pelangi di Mars because it can be said that this film was made for quite a long time, 5 years. 3 years we spent making the factory because we felt that CGI, animation, R&D did a lot of things and we made the film 2 years," said Upie Guava in the launch of a giant balloon in South Jakarta on Thursday, February 19.

The giant balloons standing at SCBD are the balloons of the Rainbow and Batik characters which are the main characters. These balloons can be found until February 22.

Dendi Reynando as one of the producers also added, "Our goal is to set up a balloon to introduce the Pelangi IP on Mars so that it can be known and remembered and reach many eyes in Indonesia and can come down in various forms and products."

Irene Umar, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade on behalf of the government also revealed his support for the balloon and the film Pelangi di Mars.

"This is the result of a masterpiece and it is 100% Indonesian. I have seen it in the studio, there is one pride, there are hidden gems. I want it to be a proud IP," added Irene Umar.

The film Pelangi di Mars is voiced by Messi Gusti, Lutesha, Rio Dewanto, Livy Renata, Myesha Lin, Kristo Immanuel, Gilang Dirga, Bimo Kusuma and many others.

Meanwhile, the film Pelangi di Mars is one of the Indonesian films that will be shown at Lebaran in March.
